HubSpot Plans
Like with most online building, organizing, and tracking software, HubSpot has both free and paid subscriptions. The paid subscription gives you access to full-stack software for marketing products and customer services and is best utilized with a team. The free version offers everything you need to organize, track, and build better relationships with leads and customers with popular features like contact insights, deals, and tasks.
HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales software that allows team members to stay connected while working on a project. The project can be anything. One main advantage of creating teams in your HubSpot is the ease of access that allows you to display your whole business or firm structure by introducing groups into these teams. The teams you create can then be referenced in various workplaces across HubSpot.
Finding Team Member ID in HubSpot
If you are already using the new settings experience then creating a new team will be quite breezy. Just navigate to the “create team” option on the user settings screen. Here you will be prompted to enter team name, add users among other things. (Note: You can create as many teams as you deem necessary to reflect your business structure). When this is done and you have a team in HubSpot, you can create a reference for that team at leisure. But you might also need to acquire your team members ID when you need to create references in certain scenarios. Below is how to get your team member HubSpot ID.
There are two ways to get IDs, you can get it by pulling the list of owners via this command: GET /owners/v2/owners/
This command will pull out all the owners that exist in that HubSpot account. HubSpot Creates or updates owners when an account adds new users (team members included) or existing owners are synced from the Salesforce. You can just go to your browser and type in “http://api.hubapi.com/owners/v2/owners?hapikey=demo ”
Where the word demo will be your HubSpot API key. This command will display your HubSpot users and their IDs. You can also retrieve team member ID via your HubSpot account. To do so you must log into your account.
When you are logged into your HubSpot account go to settings. In setting navigate to properties and contact properties. Here, click on the search bar and choose the contact owner property. A list of your contact owners (which will include your team members ) will be displayed alongside their IDs. You can then extract the team members ID that you need.
